Although I have only been to Dr. Bishop once, I have 2 more appt. scheduled in the near future and am not so scared to walk in the door. I have already been passing out cards to family and friends and telling them that there is a dentist in town who cares. When Dr. Bishop called me on the phone the night of my extractions to check on me, I decided that I would always go back to him. I have in the past went to the dentist and left with, pardon the pun, a bad taste in my mouth. Probably why I have such bad teeth, the scared feeling kept me from going back. Dr. Bishop is a great dentist. You can tell he really enjoys his work and has a wonderful bedside mannor. He is quick to make you feel at ease with cheerful pep talks, explaining in detail everything they will be doing, and playful banter. He is by far the best dentist I have ever been to and will continue to return as long as he is there. The staff, from the front desk to Dr. Bishops assistants, are well equiped to answer questions and are very friendly and are always in a good mood. I have been coming to this office for several years. I have always been treated with kindness and concern. Dr. Bishop and the others have done great work. They worked me into the schedule when I broke my tooth - it was really a crown, but I was very worried. I feel very confident in their work and their advice. I noticed this last time that a new member of the office was learning the ropes. The dental assistants and hygienists and Dr. Bishop were all very kind in explaining office procedures and such. She made a mistake while I was there - didn't get the right filling stuff out or something like that. Nobody came unglued and lost their temper. They just explained what was needed and went on with their work. I would be happy to have my nieces or nephews (if they went into dentistry) work with this staff.  - Maryanne, Tooele

I just moved to Stansbury within the past 6 months and needed to find a new dentist. I randomly selected Genesis Dental because your office was listed on my insurance provider list. Dr. Checchio did my crowns, and I was impressed with the fact that after both visits he called to follow up later that evening to make sure I was doing okay. It was my first visit to your office. And I can say I will be back. I was seen by Dr. Bishop; he was very professional and polite. The thing that impressed me was that he was so concerned about me and my pain level, I have had some very bad experiences therefore causing some great anxiety when attending the dentist.
